AN ORDINANCE
REQUIRING SPECIAL PERMIT FORM CITY COUNCIL TO ERECT
ANY HOUSE, BUILDING, BILLBOARD OR OTHER STRUCTURE
WITHIN THE CITY;OR TO MOVE INTO THE CITY FOR TEMPORARY
OR PERMANENT LOCATION ANY HOUSE, BUILDING, MOBILE HOME
OR PREFABRICATED STRUCTURE OF ANY KIND DESIGNED FOR
HUMAN OCCUPANCY, STORAGE OR BUSINESS, PROVIDING FOR THE
FORM OF APPLICATIONS FOR SUCH PERMITS AND COUNCIL ACTION
THEREON; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF A
FINE NOT EXCEEDING $100.00 AND MAKING EACH DAY A VIOLA-
TION CONTINUES A SEPARATE OFFENSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CIBOLO, TEXAS:
1. No person shall erect or cause to be erected within
the City any house, building, billboard or other structure without
having first obtained from the City Council a special permit authoriz-
ing the same.
2. No person shall make or cause to be made any extension,
addition or structural alteration to any existing building, house or
other structure within the City nor shall any person move or cause to
be moved into or within the corporate limits of the City for either
temporary or permanent location, any house, building, mobile home or
prefabricated structure of any kind designed to be used for human
occupancy or for storage or for the conduct of the business of any
person, firm or corporation without having first obtained such a
special permit from the City Council authorizing the same.
3. Applications for such permits shall be in writing in
duplicate originals, shall be addressed to the Mayor and Council,
shall be filed with either the City Secretary or the Mayor, and shall
be taken up and.considered by the City Council at its first regular
meeting held subsequent to the filing of same. Such applications
shall contain the name, address and telephone number of the applicant,
At any meeting where the same is considered by the Council the appli-
cant shall have the right to appear and be heard in behalf of the
same.
4. Upon hearing the Council may grant the application in
whole or in part and upon such terms and conditions as may appear to
be in the interest of the City. If the same is granted, one copy
shall be returned to the applicant and there shall be endorsed thereon
the action of the Council evidenced by the signature of the Mayor,
the date of approval, and any special terms and conditions.
5. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance
shall upon conviction be fined not exceeding $100.00, and each day
that a violation continues shall constitute a sepyRf%te offense.
